Infant massage and touch communication is for parents and caregivers with babies 3 weeks to crawling, and is one on one time for you and your baby to interact in a fun and rewarding way while discovering your baby's intuitive communication skills.

This special time is spent applying gentle strokes to provide tactile stimulation for your baby, singing, and exploring fun and gentle movements, all which raises baby's awareness of their new world.

Infant Massage for Dads & Babies

This class is exactly like Infant Massage and Touch Communication described above, except that it is just for dads and grandpas or other special male caregivers in a baby's life.

About the class and my purpose as instructor

My purpose as instructor is to assist you along your journey in learning the strokes, theory, and principles of infant massage so you can take this skill home to nurture your own family. This is accomplished with small class sizes of only 4-6 babies allowing me to give attention to each participant.

Classes meet weekly for 1 1/2 hours over 5 consecutive weeks. I use a doll to teach you a few strokes each week while you follow along with your baby. This gives you a chance to use the gift of massage at home and find what works best for you. I review the strokes at the beginning of the next class to answer any questions to ensure everyone is comfortable with the techniques. Discussion time is also spent on various infant topics giving parents a chance to share their thoughts and experiences with other parents in the class.
